Dr Rob Sinnott
Chief Scientific Officer, USANA
Rob Sinnott, PhD, is USANA’s new Chief Scientific Officer.
Dr. Sinnott brings to USANA more than 25 years of experience and leadership in life sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, and nutrition, with 18 spent directly in the nutritional supplement industry. He has held numerous scientific and leadership roles.
Dr. Sinnott received his B.S. degree in biological sciences, a Master of Natural Science, and doctorate degree in plant sciences from Arizona State University. His focus was on applied biological sciences, including biotechnology and plant medicinal chemistry.
He also completed postgraduate coursework in a variety of business topics at Harvard Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and more.
From 2006 to 2011, Dr. Sinnott served on the Board of Directors of the Council of Responsible Nutrition (CRN), a leading trade association representing ingredient suppliers and manufacturers of dietary supplements. From 2009 to 2011, Dr. Sinnott also served as chair of the Senior Scientific Advisory Committee for the CRN.
